Leaving aside the amusing juxtaposition between headline and front-page photo (we’re never quite sure if these things are intentional), The Herald Sun has some nerve calling power companies cold-hearted (see what they did there?) for telling “freezing pensioners who can’t afford to heat their homes … to rug up instead.”

The LNP government this paper championed will be making it harder and harder for pensioners to make ends meet, as a matter of public policy. The Abbott/Hockey budget hits hardest those who can afford it least. So who are the cold-hearted ones?
